    Hi everyone!

Another quick post to show you my current manicure. I know I should sit down and write a really long post soon but at the moment life doesn't allow me that time so a quickie will have to do... but it's a pretty manicure, or at least I think so :)

    indoors, no flash

Last year my husband gave me several Colour Alike stamping polishes. Of course they are highly pigmented, as any stamping polish should be, but they are fluid enough to be used as regular polish as well so your manicure is completely coordinated ;)

I used two thin coats of Colour Alike 44 Falling Leaf on my thumb, index and pinky. If you use slightly thicker coats one coat would be sufficient but I was too stingy with the first one so I had to add a second. Falling Leaf has a beautiful burgundy color with a gorgeous golden shimmer that you can't see in the first picture, but it is a little visible in the bottle shot. In real life the shimmer gives the polish a lovely lit-from-within look and even the stamp shows that effect.

On my middle and ring finger I used three thin coats of Painted Polish Crazy Cupid, a pretty white creme/jelly that is stuffed with tiny silver, gold and pink holographic glitters. It's still not 100% opaque but the slight smile line that is left is tolerable ;) I proceeded with stamping an abstract feather image from UberChic Fabulous Feathers using Falling Leaf and finished with two generous coats of Seche Vite on my middle finger as Crazy Cupid had a slightly bumpy finish, and one coat of SV on all other nails, and that was it.

The bottle shot (I hope you can see the shimmer at the left bottom of the bottle and above the LO at the top):

I really like the glittery base with the burgundy stamp on it, and of course the combination of white, glitters and dark red... in short: I really like my nails :) Do you like them too?

Painted Polish Crazy Cupid was bought from Harlow & Co.
Colour Alike b.A Falling Leaf was bought from Hypnotic Polish.
