I had a business event earlier this week and I needed a bit of a confidence booster, so I grabbed a brand new, fierce red polish and got to work. This is what was on my nails afterwards:
I painted my thumb, index and pinky with three thin coats of piCture pOlish Christine, a bright orange-leaning red jelly with red and silver glitters and scattered holo particles that combine to a beautiful flaming color with lots of depth.
Of course you can't go wrong by pairing red with white and black so that's what I did. KIKO Frozen Smoothies 010 Soft Candyfloss, a white creme with zillions of dark gray micro-thingies that give it a pale gray tint, was still on my desk from my previous manicure so I grabbed that one and used it to paint my middle and ring finger. I picked up a swirly-leafy image from the Moyra 45 I Fill You plate with black Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, filled in the leaf-like parts with Christine on the stamper and carefully rolled the image on my ring finger. A generous coat of Seche Vite was all that was left for me to do after that.
The bottle shot:

I don't know what it is about red nail polish that makes me feel more self-assured, but I do know it works and this time was no exception :) Do you have a color that you wear for 'trying times'? Or doesn't your manicure affect you like that?
This is very pretty!! Love it.
