Rose gold skittle

Hi everyone!

Yup, that's right... another post from me and you didn't have to wait two weeks for it :)
After a week and a half of feeling lousy, droopy nose, shivering, etc. and no interest in my nails at all, I looked at my hands this morning and decided to go for bright and bling and in-your-face... and ended up with this manicure:

indoor, no flash
The bling is there... sort of... but bright or in-your-face? Not so much! I don't care though, I think they look pretty :)

I painted one coat of essie Penny Talk on my thumb and index. Two coats and some careful dabbing of Cirque Colors Stella was used for my pinky. My middle and ring finger each received two coats of Essence I Nude It. I finished by stamping my ring finger with Penny Talk (which is an amazing stamper, the other colors in the essie Mirror Metallics collection have been put on my wishlist... are you reading this, hubby dearest Santa?) and Pueen plate 76. No top coat or anything because I really love the soft finish of Penny Talk. I wonder if all chromes are like that (looks questioningly at Lizzy).

The polishes I used:
essie Penny Talk, Essence I Nude It, Cirque Colors Stella

I know it's not bright or anything like I intended to, but it did the intended job: it cheered me up :)
What do you think? Do you like it too?

Cirque Colors Stella was bought from The Nailista Shop.

I guess it's my favorite kind of manicure: a skittlette with coordinated colors and different finishes and textures. Selecting the polishes is usually what takes up most of the time I spend on my nails ;)
