El Corazon - Matte & Shine Effect 161

Today I have a gorgeous blue polish with a suede finish for you to look at: El Corazon - Matte & Shine Effect 161. It was given to me by Maria from Hypnotic Polish.

no topcoat - indoors, no flash

I can't praise this polish enough! 161 is a stunning, bright blue polish that seems to glow from within, and has a matte finish. The polish has a lot of shimmer so its normal finish doesn't look flat at all, but velvet-like. When you apply topcoat over it, the color deepens a little and the shimmer turns into a beautiful sparkle when it catches the light.

with one coat of Seche Vite - indoors, no flash

It's a very pigmented polish so one thin coat is enough for complete opacity on my rather small nails. The bottle holds a very generous 16 ml (0.54 fl oz) and the brush is quite good. It's a bit thinner than the OPI ProWide brush but it held enough polish and fanned out enough to polish my fingers in one stroke. Removal was almost as easy as removing a creme and I experienced no staining, although I already braced myself for smurf fingers with this color.

All in all a polish I'm really happy to have in my stash and I've already put some more shades on my wishlist.
