• Hearts on a wire

    Hi everyone!

As it's getting closer to Valentine's Day I thought it would be nice to do a quick manicure for the occasion. I picked out a cute pink polish, combined it with white and gray to keep it soft but not sickly sweet... and I think it worked out quite nicely. Want to take a look? Just keep reading :)

    indoors, no flash

I used three thin coats of OPI Suzi Nails New Orleans on my thumb, index and pinky and three coats of OPI Angel with a Leadfoot (that was still on my desk ;) on my middle and ring finger. I added a coat of Seche Vite to shorten the dry time and stamped some hearts-on-a-wire from UberChic plate 1-01 on my middle finger using Hit the Bottle Looking for Mr. Grey.

On my ring finger I stamped a single heart-on-a-wire from the same plate using the same polish. On UberChic Love & Marriage 01 I'd found a larger version of the hearts so I stamped that over the small heart using a lovely gray holographic polish, Colors by Llarowe Chimney Sweep. Unfortunately the stamp didn't turn out as opaque as I would have liked so I stamped the same image with the same polish in the same spot and that did the trick.

Here's the mugshot of the polishes I used:

What do you think of my Valentine's Day nails? I hope you like them too :)

Hit the Bottle Looking for Mr. Grey was bought from Rainbow Connection.
Colors by Llarowe Chimney Sweep was bought from Nailland Hungary.

And of course I didn't remember to stamp the images the right side up so here is a rotated image for your viewing pleasure. See? Hearts on a wire :)

For some reason I never combined the two before, but I will definitely repeat it in the future.

      1. Thanks! I used to combine pink with black but now that I've seen it with gray I'm going to use that more often :)

Hehe, Barbie pink usually isn't my first choice but I think it's perfect for some occasions :)
