A quick post today as I can't wait to get back to bed. Almost the entire country has had the flu so finally I managed to get it as well... oh well,
Today's manicure fits the current weather perfectly: gray and rainy :)

I painted my index and pinky with two coats of OPI Dark Side of the Mood. In the picture it looks black but in real life it is a beautiful super dark gray that has a hint of silver shimmer. It has a runny formula but I read it could be used for stamping so I stamped chevrons on my middle finger with Dark Side of the Mood and Born Pretty plate BP-L006 and finished all nails with a coat of Seche Vite.

When I was thinking about this manicure, I wanted to try vinyls for the chevrons but sneezing and carefully placing something on my nails don't go together so I opted for stamping. I'm glad I did, because I like the translucent stamping and using nail vinyls it would have become way darker.
This manicure also qualifies for the Finnish(able) Nail Art Challenge, week 2: Shades of Grey. I could also say it matches my outfit as I'm wearing gray sweat pants, a faded t-shirt that used to be black and a dark gray fleece vest but I'll spare you the sight of my bleary eyes and red nose, so no pictures of my very comfortable but highly unflattering look ;)
The other manicures for the challenge can be seen through this link: InLinkz Link-up for the Finnish(able) Nail Art Challenge.
I'm off to watch another episode... achoo!
