Hi everyone!
It's time for Lace and I was actually thinking about two color schemes: fall colors or, inspired by my wedding dress that had a lace bodice, white on white. I decided to go for the latter but after painting the base, I realized it would look beautiful with a darker color on top. So I dug up a gorgeous reddish brown polish... and it's turned out to be this mix of fall on white-ish:

Hi everyone!
Sorry for the unexpected absence. I blame my ailing computer and no time to work on that because half of the team I work in is away on vacation. But it's weekend now, the husband performed a small miracle in curing my poor puter and I was finally able to crop and watermark my pictures. So without further ado, here's the manicure I did for last weeks theme, Other Hand:
And, keeping to the theme, here's my Cinderella hand:

Hi everyone!
It's time for the 24th installment already... can you believe 2020 is almost halfway through already?! *shakes head in disbelief* Anyway, the 24th prompt is Glitter. As you may know, I'm not that much into glitter on my nails (or anywhere else on me for that matter) so I wasn't looking forward to this prompt very much. I looked through my stash but most of the glitter polishes I own are only suitable for small accents as far as I'm concerned (I know, I'm boring 😉). And then I came across a small category of polishes I hadn't thought of... glitter-crellies! After that the manicure was easy: pick a pretty glitter-crelly, find a matching creme, pick a nice stamp, have fun! And fun I had, take a look:

Hi everyone!
It's the eighth time Michelle and I challenge each other to do a manicure with a polish one of us chose and a plate chosen by the other. This time I picked ILNP Paige and Michelle settled on the flower image from Pueen plate 112. I'm not sure if my nails are 100% compliant with the rule that the chosen polish should be a prominent part of the manicure but there is no way I could have used that polish and that image in any other way. Here is what I did:

Hi everyone!
This week's theme couldn't have come at a better time. The prompt is 'Unused polish' and my husband spoiled me rotten with a huge box of Masura polishes so the biggest problem was what polish to use :) I settled on some pretty holographic polishes that reminded me of Spring and ice cream:

Hi everyone!
Another month has almost passed so it's time for the Triad manicure again. That means I had to find a clean spot and some peace and quiet to do a manicure using the inspiration Michelle chose, an absolutely gorgeous manicure by Yulia from Yulia's Nails (@yyulia_m on Instagram). This is a manicure that actually was on my to do list, so I had plenty of ideas. Of course those ideas were nowhere to be found when it came to making a list for my husband who had to get my polishes from the storage they're still in (still no finished kitchen... but there is definitely some light at the end of the tunnel as the renovations have started again. ETA is now the last week of June/first week of July).
As I really needed to start on those nails, I asked him to help me out and pick some colors he liked from the swatch pictures I have of all my polishes and bring them home. This is the result of our collaboration... and I love it!

Hi everyone!
As I already expected, I didn't have the chance to write one last blog in 2018 with the December nails that were patiently waiting on my camera but as I have some unexpected free time (I guess that's the only advantage of back problems) I decided to write this post and give them their spot in the, slightly belated, spotlight.
Let's start with the manicure I did for my mother-in-law's birthday, early December:

Hi everyone,
it's September so that means summer is almost over and fall is eagerly waiting for its turn. This morning I smelled that special scent in the air that says fall's almost here and I decided to make my nails look like the glorious sunny autumn day that I remember from a trip to Canada, with trees dressed in all sorts of gorgeous reds and oranges and golds and twittering birds hidden in those leaves (instead of the drabby yellowy-greens and browns and screeching seagulls that are outside my window at the moment ;) And this is the final manicure:
