Hi everyone!
It's time for the 24th installment already... can you believe 2020 is almost halfway through already?! *shakes head in disbelief* Anyway, the 24th prompt is Glitter. As you may know, I'm not that much into glitter on my nails (or anywhere else on me for that matter) so I wasn't looking forward to this prompt very much. I looked through my stash but most of the glitter polishes I own are only suitable for small accents as far as I'm concerned (I know, I'm boring 😉). And then I came across a small category of polishes I hadn't thought of... glitter-crellies! After that the manicure was easy: pick a pretty glitter-crelly, find a matching creme, pick a nice stamp, have fun! And fun I had, take a look:

Hi everyone!
A couple of days ago I had some time to spend while waiting for my online meeting to begin and I ended up on a website that allows you to generate color palettes. So I clicked a bit, clicked some more and I ended up with a palette of dark brown, pale peach and coral... and I thought it would look great on my nails. So after the meeting, I went through my stash, selected some pretty colors and here's the result:

Hi everyone!
It's the last Friday of the month again, so that means Triad time! The inspiration of this month was picked by me and I had a really hard time deciding. In the end I went for a manicure that actually I saw popping up in my feed and immediately saved, this pretty dry marble/smoosh by Anastasiya of @nail_muse.
I especially loved the horizontal lines so I knew I wanted to try and get those too and boy, did I set myself up for trouble... but I think I did sort of okay. I'll let you be the judge:

Hi everyone!
Another month has passed so that means Triad time :) This month Juanita picked the inspiration and I don't think I've had an inspiration that was this far out of my comfort zone... heck, at times I didn't think I would be able to find my way home! This is what she chose: an Easter colored, freehanded manicure with decals by Yulia from @juli_addicted. Believe me when I say it was a struggle, but I think I managed to make it mine after all... a bit. You be the judge:

Hi everyone!
The last Friday of the month means Juanita, Michelle and me get to show you how a manicure one of us chose has inspired us to do a similar (or completely different) manicure. You guessed it, it's Friday Triad time :)
This time Juanita chose this manicure by Hannah from @hannys_manis. I remember showing it to my husband when J shared it and telling him I had no clue how to NOT exactly recreate it (except for the negative space... I don't like it on my nails so I won't do it if I can avoid it ;) Two days later I was putting away the polishes for my attempt at scrollwork and I spotted a polish that not just sparked some inspiration but caused an entire explosion in my brain. I immediately saw the entire thing in my mind... and less than an hour later it was on my nails, exactly how I envisioned it. And then I realized I had to wait another month to show it off... Today the waiting is finally over though, here's my version of Hannah's spring roses nails:

Hi everyone!
I'm catching up on all the things that were neglected these last weeks... so full speed ahead for a quick post about the week 14 prompt of the 52 Week Nail Art Challenge: Autumn.
I've been racking my brain how to do a fall themed manicure while outside the first leaves are starting to dress the trees in a pale green and the daffodils are coloring the ground yellow. I totally didn't feel like using falling leaves or acorns and stuff... and then it hit me, just do something abstract using fall colors! And I did, with this result:

Hi everyone!
This week's prompt is plaid and the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of plaid is the blanket my parents used when I was a little girl: soft and fuzzy and with large squares of color. My manicure is an attempt to translate my memory into nail polish. The only thing different is the sparkly accent that wasn't in the original blanket, but I felt my nails needed a little extra ;)

Hi everyone!
I needed my nails to look a bit more office friendly for a meeting and as I'd seen this manicure by @melcisme a couple of days ago, I knew exactly what I was going to do... recreate her beautiful design of course!

Hi everyone!
It's still very cold and gray over here (it's 11 degrees Celsius where it should be around 16-17 this time of year) so I was craving colors (and a thick sweater, a scarf and mittens ;) and if the sun wouldn't come out, I wanted sunny colors on my nails... so, inspired by a manicure by @nadioula_ on Instagram, I grabbed a cream, a yellow and a peach and sat down for some me-time. This is what my nails look like at the moment:

Hi everyone!
As I had an official business thing to go to on Monday, the pretty pinks had to be replaced with something that looked sort of professional, so of course I started at the latest possible moment and I've just now found the time to edit the pictures and write a quick post to show off my office friendly nails:

Hi everyone!
As I was browsing the web for no other reason than being too tired to even watch tv, I happened to see a pretty blue manicure hidden among several other images that showed up during a Google image search that I can't even remember the keywords for. This is the link to the original post for that manicure. I fell in love with the design immediately and I wanted to recreate it but using different colors with this result:

Hi everyone!
As the madness that is called the 31 Day Challenge is reigning all the nail blogs and social media in September there is no ABC Challenge during this month, so no R inspired manicure this time. And as autumn is approaching fast (I can't wait to start burning candles and cooking oven dishes and pies and all the other homey things that I associate with the season) I decided to use some of my favorite colors and do the first fall manicure of this year:

Hi everyone!
I've been breaking my head over my manicure for the letter C in the ABC Challenge. I was thinking about circles, citrus colors, colors in general, brands that start with a C. I even asked my husband for inspirational words and he came up with Call of Duty (a computer game ;) and conflagration, cats, claws and caterpillars. Nothing sparked just the tiniest bit of a hint of an idea... Until I was in my mom's house yesterday to bring some groceries and saw a Chinese bowl in her showcase. That bowl has been there for as long as I live (probably even longer ;) and I can't remember looking at it twice until today, when I realized it was decorated using the cloisonné technique and <insert trumpets> that starts with a C (don't ask me why I know it's called that... I've known that all my life as well ;) So I've tried to translate the design to my nails and this is the result:
