Hi everyone!
It's the first Friday in May (wow... one-third of 2020 is over already?!) so it's time again for My polish, your plate, where Michelle and I take turns in picking a polish or an image of a stamping plate and after that both of us can go wild creating a manicure with the choices. No rules except the polish has to be a prominent color in the resulting nails. This week Michelle picked the polish, shimmery periwinkle OPI Show Me Your Tips! and I selected the swirly image at the bottom of Hello Maniology plate BM-406. Let me show you what I did with them:

Hi everyone!
The last Friday (and actually the last day) of January so the fourth year of Triads has begun. Can you believe Juanita, Michelle and I have been doing this for three years already? Juanita picked the inspiration for this month: marble and rose gold by Marta from manicure.d. And after some (read: a lot!!) struggling this is what I came up with:

Hi everyone!
It's the last Friday of the month again, so that means Triad time! The inspiration of this month was picked by me and I had a really hard time deciding. In the end I went for a manicure that actually I saw popping up in my feed and immediately saved, this pretty dry marble/smoosh by Anastasiya of @nail_muse.
I especially loved the horizontal lines so I knew I wanted to try and get those too and boy, did I set myself up for trouble... but I think I did sort of okay. I'll let you be the judge:

Hi everyone!
Today's post is coming to you from... my bedroom :(
Yup, the dreaded flu has struck again so I'm reduced to a sniffling, feverish, whining mess that would be convinced the world was coming to an end if I were a guy ;) Although, that's unfair to my guy who patiently dug up an ancient laptop, connected it to the internet, installed all security updates from the last ten years or so, and even got my photo editor on there (I know, he's the best... but in this case I think it may also have something to do with me reaching the limits of his patience with all the complaints about how I still had pictures waiting and week 45 was over already and I was way behind and I couldn't do a thing with this small mobile to edit pictures or write a post, yada yada yada... I really am the worst patient ever!).
Anyway, I got my connection to the outside world and I can finally show you what I did for the Orange + Yellow prompt that I was actually ready to skip until I first saw Michelle's and Juanita's manicures and then came across this gorgeous design by Chloé from Klo's to me... and I just knew I wanted to recreate it, with a little twist to make it mine of course ;)

Hi everyone!
You may have thought I had forgotten about the 52 Week Nail Art Challenge as it's been ages since I did a prompt. True, it has been way too long, but unfortunately work and health didn't cooperate to allow me to produce anything. That is, until this week! I love a smoosh manicure (which is this week's challenge), my nails were almost ready to walk out on me if they didn't receive a new manicure, and I needed to let off some steam (which I do either by polishing my nails or playing Diablo 3)... so I decided to see if I could still manage a smoosh :)
And then I had to pick colors... and lacking any kind of inspiration I resorted to looking through my previous manicures and I spotted a blue-peach-white one that set off some minor sparks in my brain. I knew I had a really pretty dark blue polish and after some searching I found it: OPI Turn on the Northern Lights! I added a peach textured polish that was chosen by my husband and my go to white creme, and this is the result:

Hi everyone!
At just about the latest possible moment I've managed to carve out a few moments for a quick post to show the manicure I did for the seventh prompt of the 52 Week Nail Art Challenge: Valentine's Day. I actually wore this manicure during the lovely dinner my husband treated me to but again, as usual since I started this new assignment at work, I haven't had the time to write a post. But since pictures are patient, these were waiting on my camera for me to crop them and show them off :)
As you can see no pinks for me but there are hearts and roses (well, one rose) and my Valentine really liked them which was good enough for me!

Hi everyone!
It's the last Friday of the month again so Michelle, Juanita and me are ready (or at least we should be ;) to show you our version of the manicure Michelle chose, this lovely black-n-pink one by Kakine Nail Art.
Rest assured, I didn't freehand the swirls. I tried and tried but it looked horrible and that was on my non-dominant hand so I didn't even try to do it on my dominant phalanges. I know what my strong points are and freehanding anything isn't one of them! So I played and fiddled and pulled polishes out of my stash (I had 30 of them on my desk at one point ;) and experimented some more while the clock steadily ticked on, and the calendar crept closer to the last day of the month... but thanks to a happy accident I created something that I really liked so without further ado here's my Friday Triad manicure for the month of June:
I think there's a lot of the original manicure in there, just not the freehand part or the colors or the metallic finish... but it's still recognizable, right?

Hi everyone,
Yesterday we had to say our last goodbyes to my aunt Ria who is now finally free of all the pain and discomfort a horrible neuron disease caused her.
I personally don't feel at ease wearing something outspoken or colorful to occasions like these so I set out to create a very unobtrusive manicure that was still me. Disclaimer: this is just how I feel about it and I don't mean to insult or attack anyone who feels otherwise.

Hi everyone!
It's still very cold and gray over here (it's 11 degrees Celsius where it should be around 16-17 this time of year) so I was craving colors (and a thick sweater, a scarf and mittens ;) and if the sun wouldn't come out, I wanted sunny colors on my nails... so, inspired by a manicure by @nadioula_ on Instagram, I grabbed a cream, a yellow and a peach and sat down for some me-time. This is what my nails look like at the moment:

Hi everyone!
It's the last Friday of the month so it's time for Friday Triad with Michelle and Juanita :) This time I got to pick the manicure we were going to create and I picked this beauty by Camille of Pshiiit.com...
And boy, did I regret that pick! I think I've done at least four versions of this manicure and I kept messing up the vinyls. Sure, I could have stamped a design but I bought vinyls and I really wanted to use them. So I fiddled and removed the tragic result, tried again and removed the pitiful result again, did it once more, made pictures of the base before trying to master those *censured* vinyls and... ended up removing the result again as I really didn't like it. At that point my supply of vinyls was running low, my cuticles looked like I'd been doing a month's worth of dishes without gloves, I was ready to start throwing stuff around and I was contemplating just posting the pictures of the base and be done with it. But that didn't feel right either (although I will post the base for my third attempt at the end of this post as I really like it ;) so I sat down, picked a happy color scheme, took a deep breath and this is what I ended up with:
