• Burgundy flowers

    Hi everyone!

While I was searching my stash for a pretty teal or turquoise, my eye fell on a dark, unused bottle of polish that was hiding in a corner. The moment I took it out and the light hit the concoction inside, all thoughts of teal left my brain and all I could do was wonder why I had neglected this beauty for so long! I'm talking about a-england In Robe and Crown, a gorgeous burgundy (or is it garnet... a dark red with brown undertones) with a-england's signature scattered holo. Combined with my much-loved Cirque Colors Hatch, this is what my nails looked like about half an hour after I discovered the hidden gem:

    indoors, no flash

On my thumb, index and pinky I used two thin coats of a-england In Robe and Crown. It actually completely covers in one coat but I've found that most a-england polishes deepen and look more rich with a second coat and this polish is no exception.

On my middle and ring finger I painted two thin coats of Cirque Colors Hatch, a grayish-white polish that is stuffed with black, gray and silver flakies to give it a speckled egg look and of course it smells like lavender, like all Cirque polishes. I stamped my ring finger with a floral image from UberChic 6-01 using In Robe and Crown and finished my nails with a coat of Seche Vite for a glossy finish.

The two contributors to my manicure:
    indoors, no flash

I love this kind of manicure: pretty polishes, interesting to look at and easy enough to pull off in a short time so I could replace the office friendly look with something more colorful (although I'm not sure if white actually qualifies as a color... oh well, you know what I mean ;)
I really hope you like my nails as much as I do.

a-england In Robe and Crown and Cirque Colors Hatch were bought from Pretty Polish.

It's even better in real life. I'm awful at taking pictures of holographic polishes...

      1. Thanks Ithi! It was even prettier in real life when the holo sparkles were visible. I really have to figure out a way to photograph those...
