Hi everyone!
It's time for Lace and I was actually thinking about two color schemes: fall colors or, inspired by my wedding dress that had a lace bodice, white on white. I decided to go for the latter but after painting the base, I realized it would look beautiful with a darker color on top. So I dug up a gorgeous reddish brown polish... and it's turned out to be this mix of fall on white-ish:
The white-ish base you see on my middle and ring finger is three coats of Masura Scattering of Opals, a lovely white crelly filled with iridescent flakies and holo sparkles. I'm willing to bet it looks awesome with a matte top coat too 😊
The gorgeous brown polish I used on my thumb, index and pinky is called Colors by Llarowe Turning Leaves. The name fits the color perfectly as it's not just brown but it also contains loads of red shimmer, making it glow from within, and when direct light hits it the scattered holo comes out to play... so to me it's Fall in a bottle! On top of all that, it's a one-coater so great for stamping.
And that's what I did with it. I used Turning Leaves to pick up a lacey image from Clear Jelly Stamper CjS-51 Feeling Lacy, a pretty plate you can use to create layered lace but this time I used one of the ready-made images. I finished with a coat of Seche Vite and that was all!

I know it's a simple manicure, but in my opinion these beautiful polishes and plate didn't need much to shine. Don't get me wrong, I love doing more complicated techniques but I'm also a firm believer in 'Less is more' and that's what I chose to go by this time. I hope you like these as much as I do 😊
Nice :-)
