• Zoya Delight Spring 2015 - Eden

    Hi everyone!

Yesterday I was convinced today I would make another post with swatches of the three cremes but unfortunately it turned out I didn't have the time for that today, so instead each creme will probably get a post of her own, starting with Eden.

    From the Zoya website:
Eden by Zoya can be best described as a classic spring flower pink in a glossy cream finish.

Eden is a cool toned pink creme that unfortunately has a less than perfect formula. It is quite streaky and needs three coats to reach full opacity. On the other hand it is self leveling so the end result is the glossy girly manicure you can see in the picture above.

I already knew I didn't have the time to swatch the other two cremes so I chose to do a little nail art on Eden. First I added a thin layer of INM Out The Door Northern Lights on all nails. It may look like silver glitter in the picture but in real life it's an explosion of tiny holo twinkles... beautiful!! After that I stamped my ring finger with Illamasqua Vice and a flower pattern from Born Pretty plate BP-L001. The last thing I did was color the centers of the flowers with OPI Alpine Snow using a small dotting tool. A coat of Seche Vite to seal everything and speed up the drying and I was ready for an afternoon of running errands :)

These are the polishes I used:
Zoya Eden, INM Out The Door Northern Lights, Illamasqua Vice, OPI Alpine Snow

And as I don't wear a lot of pink, I'm taking this opportunity to scratch of both the Pink challenge (36) and the Accent Nail challenge (22) in the SBBNailChallenge:

I know Eden isn't the most original color but every spring collection needs a pink, right? And I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this manicure. Hope you like it too!

Zoya Eden was bought from Pretty Polish.
